My husband accepted a job offer in the Staunton / Harrisonburg area and in a few weeks, we’re packing up our entire lives and taking a leap of faith! We currently live in Ohio, however, I am from Michigan and my husband is from Virginia. Before I even told my parents that he was going to accept the job, I emailed every single one of my 2023 couples.

I sent them an email explaining the entire situation and how it impacted them. I explained our timeline and that their wedding days are a priority to me. I will be there on their wedding days, regardless of where I am living, because the opportunity to photograph their weddings is not a responsibility I take lightly. I sent them this before we even told anyone else I made sure that they all responded and were at ease and taken care of. My #1 goal was that I did not add any stress to them with this move! Y’all I told my couples before I even told my family we were moving! I wanted them to hear it from me first.

We are currently in the process of selling our home in Ohio and *hopefully* purchasing our dream home in Virginia. I am so incredibly excited for our next adventure. Let the fun begin!!
