Eric & Erica met in college. She was a junior in HS taking college classes at the lake campus. He was in his first year of college and was the starting pitcher for the lake campus baseball team. They had history together and admired each other but thought we were out of each other’s league. Three years later, Erica found Eric on Tinder. They started messaging and texting. He asked her out on a real date. Their first date lasted for HOURS. They felt so natural and so at peace with each other. They’ve been together ever since!

Now, their lives are filled with outdoor activities as a family of three. They garden together, spend time playing with their fur babies and love watching movies together.

Their session was so beautiful. Truly, when I was shooting these photos, my heart was MELTING. This family is goals. We had their favorite worship music playing in the background and most of the time we were chasing Briley all around.

I have been friends with Erica on Facebook for some time. I have been following their story since they discovered that sweet Briley was recently diagnosed with a very rare cancer, her parents found a low grade malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor. Only about 10-15% of these tumors get diagnosed as low grade.
